Midnight sun battle - HBA competitions -

Welcome to horseback archery competition ”Midnight Sun Battle”, held at the brand-new Ranch Kuulas grounds of Laenlammen tila – surrounded by stunning fells and the magical scenery of Lapland!

July 14, 2025 at 20:00 – RAID234

July 15, 2025 at 20:00 – TOWER90

This is a two-day combined competition, and the overall scores will determine the Midnight Sun Battle Champion. Expect great prizes, a unique and atmospheric competition setting, and the chance to connect with fellow archers during the most magical time of the Lapland summer.

The competition is IHAA accredited.

Max. number of riders using rental horses: 10 competitors, (with own horses 5)

Participation Fees:

Horse rental: €35 / day

Entry fee both days together: €45 (non-members) / €30 (members of Arctic Horseback Archery ry)
→ All fees will be invoiced in advance
Horse testing 30€, ask when it is possible

You can reach Ranch Kuulas easily from anywhere in Finland:

🚆 By Train:
Take a train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. Train time is app. 8 hours also overnight trains. You can check timetables and book tickets at vr.fi.

✈️ By Plane:
Daily flights operate from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. Flight time is approximately 1 hour. See options at finavia.fi.

🚌 By Bus:
From both the train station and airport, there are bus connections to our area.

Our nearest bus stop is TIAINEN.

🚐 Shuttle Service:
We also offer pickup from Rovaniemi railway station or airport to the ranch for €40 per person.
